Medical Cannabis Conference & Expo
On Saturday, October 13 from 10 am – 2pm, and again on Monday, October 15 from 10 am – 4 pm, CUC will be hosting “The Cannabis Caravan”. This Medical Cannabis Conference & Expo will have international lecturers and workshops to provide knowledge of the medicinal marijuana industry, with a focus on education and commercial information. Experts will be here to talk about where Mexico stands on the legalization of cannabis. Anyone interested in the cannabis industry is welcome. This event is FREE and open to the public. Dra. Director of Pasos Adelante has been working in the field of neuropsychology, special and bilingual education for the past 35 years. She has been an invited speaker for national and international conferences in 16 countries. Dr. Viveros from the UdG in Guadalajara and Patricia Zakany from Mexico City will also attend. Patricia will talk about caregivers and cannabis.
Registration for the second Black Lion Run in Puerto Vallarta now open
The convocation and registration for the second Black Lions Run in Puerto Vallarta is now. This event will take place on Sunday, October 28 at 8 am. The start and finish line will be at the entrance of the Agustín Flores Contreras sports centre. There will be a 2K, 5K, and 10K run. For more information email

Science Saturday
Another Science Saturday will take place on October 20 at 10 am in the main auditorium. Dra. Laura Alicia Aguilar will host and teach about EL CACAO, chocolate. It will be as fun as it is to taste. It is FREE and open to the public. Everyone will learn and have a finger licking good time. Science Saturday is designed for children from 3 to 16 years.
Free Movies Every Week
The university screens movies every Wednesday and Friday at 1 pm in the main (air conditioned), auditorium. This coming Wednesday Oct. 17 will be a concert film staring GREEN DAY.
Green Day is an American pop punk rock band composed initially of three members: Billie Joe Armstrong (guitar and vocals), Mike Dirnt (bass and choruses) and Tré Cool (drums and choirs). The original group is from Berkeley, California.
